Day 1: Casablanca Arrival and Sightseeing

Your adventure begins in Casablanca, where our driver will meet you at the airport or your hotel. Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, offers a unique blend of modernity and tradition. The highlight of the day is the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Situated on a promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, its architecture and ocean views are breathtaking.

Afterward, you’ll explore the city’s Corniche, a vibrant waterfront lined with cafes and views of the sea. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before checking in to your hotel for the evening. Use the remainder of the day to relax or stroll the nearby streets, soaking up Casablanca’s atmosphere.

Day 2: Casablanca – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Following breakfast, we journey to Volubilis, one of Morocco’s most impressive Roman archaeological sites. The ruins, recognized by UNESCO, feature intricate mosaics, arches, and pillars—offering a vivid image of ancient Roman life in North Africa. It’s a quiet, open-air museum where history speaks through stones and scenery.

We continue to Meknes, known for its massive walls, grand gates, and tranquil royal gardens. Key stops include Bab Mansour, the Royal Stables, Sahrij Souani, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Then it’s onward to Fes, the spiritual and intellectual heart of Morocco. You’ll settle into a traditional riad in the medina, ready to explore more tomorrow.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Cedars Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Today, the route leads south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. First, you’ll pass through Imouzzer before arriving in Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco due to its alpine-style architecture and snowy winters. You’ll continue to the cedar forests near Azrou, home to playful Barbary macaques. Enjoy interacting with the monkeys and photographing the lush landscape.

Stop in Midelt for lunch, then journey through the dramatic Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and the palm-lined Ziz Valley. Upon arrival in Merzouga, swap your car for camels and ride into the golden dunes. Pause atop a high dune for sunset before reaching your luxury desert camp. Enjoy dinner, drumming, and a sky full of stars before sleeping in your private tent.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake early to witness the desert sunrise—an unforgettable experience of light and shadow across the sand. After breakfast, you’ll camel-trek back to Merzouga, where your driver awaits. The journey continues to Rissani, once the capital of the Tafilalet region and still a vibrant market town.

Next is Erfoud, famous for fossil workshops where ancient marine creatures are turned into beautiful decorative pieces. Travel through palm groves and Berber villages to the striking Todra Gorges, with their 300-meter-high canyon walls. After a walk and lunch, drive to Dades Valley. Capture the strange rock formations known as “monkey fingers” before reaching your hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Skoura – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Today’s route is packed with scenic and cultural wonders. Start by visiting Rose Valley, especially famous during May’s Rose Festival. Continue through Skoura’s vast palm groves before reaching Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara and home to film studios where movies like Gladiator and The Mummy were shot.

From there, explore the majestic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and ancient ksar used in numerous films and series. Finally, ascend the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, stopping for panoramic views. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, where your tour concludes at your hotel or the airport.
