Our guided tour will cover Rabat’s key landmarks, including the Hassan Tower, the striking minaret of an incomplete 12th-century mosque, the elegant Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the charming Kasbah of the Udayas.

A short drive from the ruins will take us to the imperial city of Meknes, the former capital under the rule of Sultan Moulay Ismail. Next, we will enter the old medina through the iconic Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud) for a comprehensive walking tour. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Fes medina is a living museum. Next, we will visit a local nomadic family in their traditional hand-woven tent. This is a unique opportunity to share a cup of Berber tea and learn firsthand about their resilient way of life. Our cultural immersion continues in Khamlia village, where you will experience the powerful rhythms of Gnaoua music. After lunch, we will take a stroll through a lush palm grove and later drive to see the wild lake of Merzouga, a seasonal home to flamingos and other birdlife, before retiring to your hotel in Merzouga.
After breakfast, we bid farewell to the Sahara and travel to Rissani, the ancient capital of the Tafilalet region. Rissani’s large souk remains a vital trading hub, and we will take time to explore its vibrant atmosphere. From there, we continue to Erfoud, a town renowned for its rich fossil deposits, where we will visit a workshop to see how ancient marine fossils are crafted into beautiful artifacts.
Our journey then leads us through the vast palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad to the magnificent Todra Gorges.
